Elderberry Popsicle Recipe (Throat Soothing & Immune Boosting)

Recipe Alert-

Cool off with Elderberry Boost Popsicles

Elderberry is traditionally used to help build the immune system and fight off viruses. However, one of the less spoken of  benefits of elderberry syrup is its great allergy soothing properties. It really works! With Spring at its peak, my family is always looking for ways to stay healthy while keeping those pesky allergies away.

These Elderberry Boost popsicles have been a staple in our house. It is quick, easy and healthy! These popsicles can be made in less than 5 minutes and the kids love them!

Elderberry Popsicle

Ingredients:

2 Tablespoons Elderberry Boost Syrup
6oz (12 Tablespoons) Vanilla Greek Yogurt
10 Berries (Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries)

What You Need:

Silicone Popsicle Molds
(You can use a small Dixie cup if you do not have molds)
Popsicle Stick
Fork and Small Mixing Bowl

Elderberry Syrup

Step 1: Mash berries.

Place berries into mixing bowl. You can use a fork, pastry blender. or potato masher. To use a fork, grab a hold of the fork down low so that you have more leverage and begin to mash the berries using the side of the bowl to press against it. I prefer having more fruit pieces in our popsicles so I do not over mash.

Step 2: Add Elderberry Syrup

Add 2 tablespoons of Elderberry Boost syrup to bowl. Mix with berries.

Step 3: Fill Popsicle Molds

Alternate spooning in yogurt and elderberry berry mix into popsicle molds. This will give it the "berries and cream" appearance. You also can mix in the berries with yogurt before hand and put it into the popsicle mold all at once.
