The term "detox" is a fairly common term in health circles these days. And for good reason - there are significant health benefits associated with a detox. But what exactly is a detox? And how does our new line of detox teas fit the mold? Let's explore together.

What is a Detox?

A detox is a diet that aims to relieve the body of toxins, promote weight loss, and reinvigorate your body to operate at peak condition. This is done via the use of foods, minerals, vitamins, or some combination - to reduce oxidative stress, suppress appetite, and promote metabolism and fat burning. 

Now, let's be clear about one thing. Our bodies naturally detox. It's the primary function of the kidney and liver. But with the variety of oxidants we put into our bodies, sometimes they can use a little help to achieve maximum efficiency.

There are a wide array of detox's available on the market. Discerning users will want to be sure they research the intended effects of each detox and find the right fit for them. To aid in that decision, we have provided an in-depth look at our 12 day tea detox. Our intent is to create a sustainable, non-disruptive detox regiment that works gently over time - and again - aids your body in its natural function. 

Morning Tea

The morning tea is a gunpowder green tea blended with peach and apricot. This combination of ingredients helps kickstart your metabolism, provides a boost of energy, and is stock-full of anti-oxidants to aid your liver and kidneys in processing.

How to Detox

  • Avoid (or limit) alcohol consumption
  • Reduce processed foods
  • Get a good nights sleep
  • Drink lots of water
