Recipe Alert - Wake Up to Elderberry Boost Oatmeal

Elderberry is traditionally used to help build the immune system and therefore a necessity for my active family!  I am always looking for new ways to integrate it into our everyday meals. I found a healthy way to shake up our breakfast with Elderberry Boost Oatmeal! It is quick, easy, and healthy!

Oats are a great option for busy people on the go. Oats are full of fiber, help control cholesterol levels and keep you feeling full. This recipe takes it up a level as a powerhouse of nutrition. It is full of antioxidants, protein & flavonoids thanks to the addition of Elderberry Boost syrup and tea. Yes! You can cook with tea too!

Using elderberry tea as a water or milk substitute is what makes this recipe so great! Using tea in the recipe makes the oatmeal creamy and creates a better texture than when using water. The oatmeal soaks up all of the tea benefits too. It is a win win!

I hope you love it as much as we do!

Check out the recipe below!

Elderberry Boost Breakfast Oats

Ingredients:

Elderberry Tea Sachet

1 Cup Water

1/2 Cup Instant Oats

Blueberries / Raspberries

Elderberry Boost Syrup

Step 1: Steep 1 sachet of Elderberry Boost Tea with 1 cup of water in a saucepan on the stove. Let tea steep for 4-5 minutes. Remove sachet.

Step 2: Add 1/2 cup of your favorite oats and cook according to package directions. (I used instant oats so I only had to stir it in for a minute or so.)

                                       Elderberry Boost

Step 3: Pour oatmeal into a bowl. Top with your favorite toppings such as blueberries, raspberries, or almonds.

Step 4: Drizzle 1 tablespoon Elderberry Boost Syrup on top. Enjoy!

  • Love your product, this time I froze 2 jars into ice cube trays, 2 of them are the small round cubes and 2 regular trays, so I can pop two small ones in my mouth while I make my coffee, ,like a mini popsicle, and later I put a big cube or 2 into my iced tea. love your product.
