What are the benefits of Elderberry Boost?

Elderberry is not only a great immune booster, but it is a great anti-viral too. Studies have shown that properties in elderberry attach to virus cells and prevent them from multiplying. It is known to stop viruses in it's tracks. Elderberry is also an anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and allergy soother. It helps regulate blood sugar and aids in respiratory and digestive health. It is often referred to as nature's cure.

 What is the shelf life of your products?

Elderberry Syrup - Unopened jars can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 years. All of our products are made fresh before shipment. Once opened, we recommend refrigeration and consuming within 6-8 weeks.

Be aware, jars can last beyond the 6-8 weeks after opening, if kept in the right conditions. You often can tell if a jar has gone bad if it either molds at the top, or has a fermented/vinegar smell & taste. 

Elderberry Gummies - Unopened jars can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 years. We recommend keeping away from heat (such as a hot car) as it can change the consistency of the gummy. Once opened, we recommend consuming within 90 days.

How much should I take?

Adults take 1-2 tablespoons of Elderberry Boost syrup daily for overall wellness, or every 3-4 hours when sick. Children take 1-2 teaspoons daily for wellness or every 3-4 hours when sick. 

For gummies, we recommend 2-3 gummies per serving for adults and 1 gummy for children.

Are your products kid friendly? 

Yes! Kids LOVE the taste of our syrup and gummies. We are often told that kids beg for their daily elderberry boost!

We recommend our signature Elderberry Boost syrup for children one years old and older. For children under one, we offer a 4oz honey-free syrup.

Do I take the syrup straight? Can I mix it in smoothies and other drinks?

Yes and yes! This is personal preference, but most take it straight from the spoon. It tastes great all by itself! You also can add it to your smoothies, tea, oatmeal, yogurt etc. We have even had customers drizzle it over biscuits for breakfast. :)

What is so special about your elderberry gummies?

Elderberry Boost gummies are the most pure, all-natural, elderberry gummies on the market. It took us over a year to find the perfect recipe! It would have been easier to make if we were willing to use sugars, waxes and gelatin - but we were not willing to compromise. Our gummies are simply: elderberry syrup (honey-free), date syrup, apple juice concentrate, elderberry powder, pectin and a monk fruit coating! We only use the best quality and organic ingredients.

Why is your elderberry syrup a thinner consistency, and not thick like a syrup?

Thickness does not equate to potency! Traditional store bought elderberry is thick due to the added sugars and thickeners. Companies use these unnatural ingredients to preserve the product and alter the flavor profile. Our elderberry is thinner, similar to a juice. This is because it is simply pressed berries, infused with spices, and raw honey. It should have a similar consistency to if you smashed a blueberry between your fingers. We do not add filler ingredients or water-down our syrup, making it one of the most potent on the market.

Do you heat your jars to seal them? I heard that destroys the quality of the honey?

Nope! We use seasonal raw honey (great for allergies) in our elderberry syrup and we do not heat it. We have found an FDA approved method to seal our jars without "canning" or heating them. The process is one of our trade secrets that sets us apart from the rest. This process preserves the integrity of the raw honey while allowing the jars to be sealed for safety and shelf life.

We are a USA based company located in Brighton, Michigan. All of our products are made in the USA, in a regulated and licensed commercial kitchen.
